Why get a massage?
In our modern day society with its go-go mentality, it is a challenge to find anyone who isn’t stressed-out. Most people are not aware of how, over time, tension can manifest in their physical being. Massage is an ideal medium to help you identify the stress-filled areas in your body while providing a healing release at the same time. A healing touch is an essential part of maintaining physical, mental, spiritual and emotional well being.
Massages are an excellent vehicle to help release toxins from the body. To help facilitate this, it is important to drink lots of water and herbal teas afterwards to assist in the flushing of these toxins.
The ”ESSENTIAL” Massage
My approach to massage integrates a variety of techniques individually customized to meet my client’s needs, optimizing tension relief and relaxation. I use a combination of Swedish massage (long gliding strokes with kneading and friction) and deep tissue massage (deeper, slower strokes with direct pressure and friction applied across the muscle grain) .
Your comfort is my primary goal and I provide heated towels to sooth your neck and back, along with my undivided attention, as only one client at a time is nurtured in the spa. Depending on the individual, I may incorporate: rocking, compression, light stretching, Reiki, chakra balancing and/or aromatherapy to further aide your body in reaching a profound level of relaxation, so healing can take place.

Imagine……..those tired feet massaged with warm oil then wrapped in hot towels. After a few minutes feet are gently scrubbed with aromatic (mint, grapefruit or lavender) sea salts followed by a thoroughly divine foot massage, using a luscious foot balm.
Now, doesn’t that sound relaxing?
